She is perplexed when her dog returns home with a body coated in blue oil paint.

Veterinarians and animal lovers have repeatedly advised against using any dye on puppies because it can negatively affect their health. This is something the family of a dog named Bessie knows all too well, but the poodle has got a new look . 

Bessie lives with her family in the city of Brandiston in the United Kingdom.

Bessie’s neighbor loves to paint and left one of her canvases out in the sun . Following a possible artistic vein, the dog began to wallow in the paint and when she returned home her mother, Sacha Barbato, was speechless: her dog was completely dyed a brilliant blue and no one in the house understood what had happened.

The paint was oil based so it would be very difficult to remove with water.

Luckily, a conversation with the author of the canvas was enough to understand it. They all took Bessie’s prank with a good sense of humor and were relieved to see that the paint hadn’t been ruined, the only thing being that it was acrylic paint and wouldn’t come off that easily.

The blue color started to fade after four days and two baths.

Indeed, Sacha set out to bathe her dog but nothing seemed to have an effect. Bessie was still wearing a strong turquoise. Sacha decided to go to the networks in search of advice to get the paint off his dog.

It was just a matter of waiting a few days until the blue color disappeared completely. Bessie’s next walks were unforgettable for Sacha, everyone stopped to point at the dog and look at her very strangely.

“I figured everyone was thinking, ‘Poor pet.’ But I couldn’t leave her at home,” Sacha said.

There’s no doubt that this will be one Bessie caper that no one will forget. The most important thing is to know that the dog was not affected by the painting and that everything became a well-deserved moment of fame on the networks. After all, the furry one wore the color blue like nobody else.
