Huseyin Yurtseven is a dentist with a large heart who has been spotted on the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, assisting abandoned animals. This interest began when he was stirred by an encouraging video on social media.
According to the Daily Mail, Yurtseven roams adjacent areas warming puppies and kittens that are “dying” from the cold, and he has even handed blankets to shopkeepers and animal lovers in the city to create a network of support.

“In my area, I noticed stray dogs. I blanketed the street animals sleeping in front of the building with woolen blankets from my home. I told my buddies about the issue. We got down to business.”
Residents of Istanbul have been given this dentist’s and his friends’ contact information so that they may return the blankets if they don’t have the means to wash them and thereby prevent dirtying the city.
yurtseven commented:
“The shaking of a dog that I covered at Sultanahmet Square stunned me.” His trembling was love, not cold. We trembled as we approached him with a blanket, but she buried her head between his paws and turned his face towards us. This habit would alter people’s perspectives on life. “Compassion, pleasure, and honesty will be demonstrated by street animals.”
During the summer, Yurtseven assisted parched homeless animals by distributing water containers in front of homes and businesses.
“This kindness movement is something that everybody can do.”
Flights in Istanbul were disrupted earlier this month owing to snowfall and severe winds. Turkey is blanketed with snow; the coldest January temperature ever recorded in the nation was -25°C (-13°F) in early 1942.
Winter has expanded across Europe, including the United Kingdom, where the National Weather Service, the Met Office, has issued yellow weather warnings for heavy snow, citing the dangers that snow and ice pose to pedestrians and automobiles.
According to the Met Office:
“There’s also a chance of more hail, sleet, and snow.” Above 200 meters, they are expected to collect several millimeters, mostly in western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, and north-west England. At lower elevations, a tiny quantity of snow (1 cm or less) is also possible.
Sophie Yeomans, a Met Office meteorologist, added:
“The majority of the country is experiencing cooler, rainier weather. The snow is largely on the hills, and the rain is mostly rain with a little sleet in most spots.”
“We have some ice advisories; the weather front that has passed through has left rain on the ground, so air temperatures will begin to drop, ground temperatures will be below zero, and there will be a danger of ice throughout much of the UK.”
“…slips and falls are a possibility on untreated surfaces.”
