A sweet cat with huge eyes was rescued from a cat colony and sent to a shelter in southwestern Virginia, USA. He was rough, but his large eyes gave him a seductive appearance; the cute feline immediately felt at ease and loving with humans.

When the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation heard about this cat’s plight, they decided to take up the case and placed him in foster care to begin his recovery. The tabby cat named ‘Tom Cuddleston’ soon improved thanks to care, affection, and medicine.

“Since then, we’ve discovered he’s entirely blind and has tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FELV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).”

His desire for cuddling and caresses surged as soon as he regained his energy; he is very affectionate and constantly tries to attract all the caresses.

Jen explains:

“I have never encountered a cat who enjoys snuggling as much as he does.” He is exceedingly nice, sweet, and compassionate. He sits on my lap, has his stomach and paws stroked, and gets all of your attention.”

He shrieked for attention when Jen called out to him; she got onto her lap, and when she finally sat down, she gave him a nice massage on the face; he’s a pampered brat.

She continued, ”

“As soon as we enter the room, he begins meowing. He follows me until I’m seated, then gets onto my lap and snuggles. He takes a break now and again to knead on his favorite blanket before returning for more affection.”

Tom is a highly affectionate kitty that adores being cradled like a baby and demands hugs on a regular basis. When someone enters the room, he gives them a few strokes before allowing them to leave.

Despite his inability to sight, Tom is a quick and independent little kid who can navigate his way around his house and identifies his favorite spots.

He is a crafty kitty who chose to check out the toys on his own one day and in a short period of time figured out how to play with them.

Tom’s other senses are in great working order; he caught a feather toy in the air in a spectacular manner, aided solely by the sound of bells and the wind.

Tom has healed and is looking for a permanent home.

Jen explains:

“His FIV/FELV positive condition (both of which cause immunodeficiency problems in cats) means he will have a shortened life, but he is 100% adoptable, lovely, and deserving of love and care.” You haven’t experienced genuine love until Tom-Tom gives you a head rub.”

Tom was just relocated to a new foster family where he is the focus of attention, and he was curiously strolling about his new house, smelling every inch and burying his hairy face between the furniture in no time. He inhaled deeply, identified his preferred spot, and located his toys, all while demanding the proper care.

Tom is a very independent kitten that can easily climb on furniture and sit on the laps of his family members in search of affection.

According to Tom’s new foster family,

“Despite the fact that Tom adores everyone he encounters, he manages to make everyone who crosses his way feel like the most precious and cherished person on the planet.” Knowing Tom means loving and being loved by him.”
