Three years ago, Marie was visiting her family’s veterinarian practice when a breeder entered with a beautiful gray-furred kitten named Pitoe. She was able to determine that the feline was unusual due to severe scoliosis, a spinal disorder.
Pitoe was scheduled to be euthanized since the breeder believed she couldn’t be sold to anybody, but Marie’s grandparents opted to spare her life by adopting her.
Marie posted images of her adoption procedure on Reddit, and the photos drew a lot of attention, with the majority of people sending nice remarks to the cat and some expressing severe worry about her form and size.
Pitoe’s ailment causes his spine to remain crooked, giving him a distinct look from other cats. Her physique is shorter and broader, giving her a round appearance.
Marie’s grandparents had wanted to adopt a cat for a long time, but they were afraid it would jump off their apartment balcony and injure itself. When Marie’s mother learned that Pitoe had scoliosis, she immediately thought that she would be the perfect kitten for them because her condition made her more relaxed.
Marie stated,
“She is adored by my grandparents, and she has astounded us all with how well she is doing.” She can’t jump, but she’s a natural at walking, running, playing, and climbing. My entire family of veterinarians takes excellent care of her, and she has several exams to ensure that she is as healthy as possible!
Pitoe is ecstatic; her family adores her, and she is accustomed to being the center of attention. She’s also a bit of a tomboy who enjoys knocking her water dish over.
Pitoe, according to Marie, is without a doubt the loveliest kitten around; everyone has been astonished by how lively and playful she can be, but she seems to realize that her behavior needs to be a little quieter around the grandparents.

“She’s pretty laid-back around my grandparents, which is ideal, but she can also be very playful.”
Some issues that have developed as a result of the feline’s ailment include her inability to jump like other cats and the need to monitor her nutrition to avoid her becoming overweight.
It also has to crawl since one of its rear legs is not fully functioning. She is, nevertheless, incredibly cheerful, healthy, and loving.
