While feeding a colony of stray cats, a group of individuals discovered a nice orange cat with one of its legs wounded. They pondered taking him to the clinic to be killed since they were concerned about his condition and saw that he was in excruciating agony as a result of his injuries. When vet Matt McGlasson saw the kitty, he had a better idea.

Dr. McGlasson was convinced that there was no reason not to help the cat after attending to him and giving him a thorough examination, so he chose to cure his wounds and care for the feline. He’d then go on a quest for the right home for the cat so that it may finally enjoy a happy life.

Dr. McGlasson named the cat Nemo after receiving suggestions from his TikTok followers. Despite his best attempts, Nemo’s leg had to be removed; however, the procedure went well, and the clinic staff was happy to assist Nemo in his new three-legged life.

Because the caring veterinarian already had cats at home, he wasn’t sure whether he could adopt Nemo, but happily, one of the vet techs fell in love with him and chose to adopt him and bring him home with him.

Dr. McGlasson tells the story:

“You have never met a nicer cat than him.” “[He] cares for everyone.”

Everyone in the workplace thought Nemo deserved the chance to fight for a happy life the moment he stepped through the door for the first time. The beautiful kitten now has a lifelong home and folks who love him no matter what.

Dr. McGlasson concluded by saying:

“[He’s] doing fantastic.” He likes being a house cat and can walk on three legs very well.
