A little tabby kitten emerged out of nowhere in a family’s backyard and chose to live beneath the porch. The cat was in horrible health, with a scab covering his eyes and difficulty breathing, and he required immediate medical treatment.
The family’s father attempted to trap the youngster but was unsuccessful, so he sought assistance from a local animal rescue facility. The kitten was caught, wrapped in a towel, and taken to safety by a shelter volunteer who responded to the call.
The kitten was subsequently taken to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, where it was examined by a veterinarian and given much-needed treatment.
Mabrouk, the kitten, was finally in excellent hands and would be able to heal from his ordeals in the comfort of a foster home.
“He was just 10 weeks old at the time, and he was quite unwell. He was having problems breathing and had been prescribed antibiotics; I believe he realized he needed help and went to the backyard that day.”
Mabrouk has been ecstatic about his new foster family since he arrived, and all he wants is for them to pay attention to him and adore him.
The lovely kitty snuck onto his humans’ laps whenever he could to cuddle up and be accompanied at all times. He wanted them to constantly be at his side while he recovered from his ailments and turned on his back to have his belly massaged.
