Jolie is a beautiful cat that has never been adopted. She was discovered as a stray in Florida and spent time in many rescue facilities and foster homes before finding a family that would take her in. The kitten’s sole hope was to find a home where she could be loved and cared for; fortunately, her dreams were about to come true.

When Deanna McCallum learned of the feline’s plight, she felt she could help her and raced to see her and complete all of the appropriate paperwork to bring her home to her.

“Before I was able to meet her via Zoom, she had been at Cape Ann Animal Aid for a long time. She realized she was pregnant right away.

Deanna was certain after the Zoom call that she wanted to adopt the adorable feline Jolie and give her the forever home she’d always desired. However, she was unable to meet Jolie before she came since she was placed in her trunk when she was taken up.

Jolie popped her head out of her pet carrier for the first time after her stint with Cape Ann Animal Aid and saw her new home and foster mother for the first time.

Deanna continued, ”

“When we came home, I was quite nervous!” I took her carrier out of her bag and let her explore about for a bit.

The cat appeared bashful and bewildered by everything she saw, and Deanna could tell by the expression on her face that she still didn’t believe it was all for her. Fortunately, she adapted quickly to her new life as an indoor cat.

Despite the fact that she had never met Jolie before bringing her home, the kitten’s new mother was overjoyed to finally have her, and she was confident that they would be great friends from now on.

The kitten needed a few days to grasp that this was her new home, but after a few days, she recognized she was here to stay and was perfectly calm. Deanna was warned by the rescue center that she could struggle to acclimate to all of the new developments.

Deanna, on the other hand, discovered Jolie to be a lovely and sweet child who, despite everything that had transpired during this period, all she needed was a home and to be loved.
