Kylie was a beautiful young lady who had to depart this world after a courageous battle with illness; in her final days, she was joined by a devoted cat named Eliza, who became her greatest companion and another cause to smile.
Kylie’s mother, Robin Myers, said:
“I’d heard people refer to animals as angels, but until Eliza met Kylie, I had no idea what they meant.”
This lovely cat, formerly known as Dolly, arrived to Angels Amount Us animal rescue group in a bad way, skin and bones.
According to Angels Amount Us,
“We had restored her health and she was looking for a forever home when we received a heartbreaking call. Kylie, a lovely child with cancer, returned to her just when they believed her treatment was over and she would be on the mend.”
This devoted cat stayed with her ill closest friend until the very end.
“The family had no intention of getting a new kitty. In fact, we raced Dolly (now Eliza) to get her there on loan so she could be with Kylie in her final days.”
Eliza curled up in her arms and basically remained with her for two and a half days when the girl first saw her.
When Kylie had her prescription, Eliza laid her paw on her shoulder and stayed by her side. The other girls attempted to occupy her by playing with her, but she returned to the bed to embrace Kylie.
Robin stated,
“She was entirely devoted to loving Kylie, and it was the most lovely thing to witness.”
At first, it was assumed that the cat had gone to that home to accompany the girl in her final days, but it was only a small part of your job.
Eliza was the cat who soothed Kylie when she died, snuggling in her arms and purring in her ears when she heard her mother cry.
The faithful cat looks after her family.
“I’ve never had a pet, especially a cat, who is so aware of our needs.”
